About

Our Organisation

GM Actuaries Pty Ltd was established in 2012.

GM Actuaries provide services to many different clients. Our clients include government entities, small and large corporations from diverse industries, superannuation funds, finance businesses, legal firms and individuals. Our actuaries have worked with senior executives and governing boards in a range of organisations, including corporations, statutory authorities, centralised funding schemes, trustees of superannuation funds and insurance companies.  Our work aims to take the uncertainty out of managing our clients’ longer-term financial risks. We do this by helping them to understand the risk factors affecting their financial outcomes and by helping them to develop – and implement – strategies to achieve their objectives.

Our Service

GM Actuaries is focussed on providing the highest standards of service to our clients.

For GM Actuaries service is not only about providing high quality advice, it’s much more than that. It’s about communicating clearly to our clients, delivering on our promises, and servicing our clients in a timely fashion. It’s also about taking the time and effort to understand what the real needs of our clients are, and crafting our services and advice around those needs.  Focussing on service to our clients is about making every element of our interactions with our clients a positive experience.

We think not just about the results, but what the results mean and how they will impact on our clients.  With that approach in mind, we build strong ongoing relationships with our clients based on a detailed knowledge of their objectives and circumstances.  Our advice and the way we deliver it is always tailored to our clients’ needs.

Our actuarial service activities include work in the following main areas:

  • General insurance entities, including workers’ compensation self-insurers
  • Defined benefit superannuation funds
  • Portable long service leave schemes
  • Share option and other share-based payment valuations for listed and unlisted entities
  • Advice on consumer credit code and loan calculations
